Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Marketing Associate to assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives within our retail organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team to help drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience in our retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential retail locations, considering factors such as demographics, foot traffic, competition, and market trends.

Site Visits: Arrange and lead site visits to assess the suitability of potential locations, taking into account factors like visibility, accessibility, and proximity to target customers.

Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for location scouting, including negotiations on lease terms, rental costs, and any associated expenses.

Legal Compliance: Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements, including zoning and permits, are met for selected locations.

Negotiation: Negotiate favorable lease terms and conditions with property owners or landlords, maximizing the company’s interests.

Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction, and store operations, to ensure selected locations align with the company’s retail strategy.

Vendor and Agent Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with real estate agents, property owners, and vendors to facilitate smooth location scouting and leasing processes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for all scouting activities, lease agreements, and correspondence with property owners.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with selected locations and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree)
• Proven interest in marketing and retail environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience or internships in marketing, especially within a retail setting
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation skills
• Understanding of email marketing and basic analytical tools
